Shunno Community Guidelines
 

1. Respect & Inclusivity

  • Treat all individuals with kindness, respect, and openness, regardless of their background, identity, gender, age or artistic experience.
  • Discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or any form of harmful behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Make-out, dating, political campaigns, or any illegal acts are strictly prohibited within Shunno’s premises.
  • Support and encourage fellow artists, visitors, and community members constructively.

2. Zero Tolerance for Drugs & Alcohol

  • We do not promote or encourage the use of drugs, alcohol, or weed in any form.
  • Any complaints or violations regarding drug or alcohol use will result in immediate cancellation of membership and removal from Shunno’s premises.

3. Creative Freedom & Collaboration

  • We value artistic expression but ask that all work shared and displayed respects diverse perspectives and does not promote harm, hate, or violence.
  • Collaboration is encouraged, but always acknowledge and respect the work of others.
  • Plagiarism and unauthorized use of others’ work are strictly prohibited.

4. Studio & Workshop Etiquette

  • Respect shared spaces by keeping them clean and organized. Return tools and materials to their designated areas after use.
  • Handle all studio equipment, tools, and materials with care. Any damages should be reported immediately.
  • Follow safety protocols, especially in print, clay, and painting sessions.

5. Cafe Guidelines

  • The cafe is a creative space—discussions, performances, and collaborations are welcome.
  • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas; vaping is not allowed due to its lingering smoke and smell.
  • Outside food or Drinks are prohibited.
  • Respect food-sharing initiatives, including the Community Kitchen project. We encourage appreciation for traditional and cultural recipes.

6. Events, Membership & Participation

  • Free membership is available during March 2025, with an annual package and benefits launching soon.
  • All members must provide a valid email and WhatsApp contact for communication.
  • Pre-booking via WhatsApp for visits, events, and workshops is required. The studio gate will remain closed, and entry is only permitted upon confirmation.
  • Members and participants must comply with event guidelines and respect facilitators, speakers, and fellow attendees.

7. Digital & Social Media Conduct

  • When sharing Shunno-related content online, ensure it aligns with our values of respect and inclusivity.
  • Tagging and crediting artists and contributors is encouraged.
  • Avoid posting misleading or unauthorized information about Shunno’s activities.

8. Environmental Responsibility

  • Sustainability is a core value—reduce waste, recycle, and be mindful of resource usage.
  • Use eco-friendly materials whenever possible in your artistic practice.
  • Support our initiatives that promote climate awareness and behavioural change.

9. Conflict Resolution & Feedback

  • If you experience or witness any issues, conflicts, or misconduct, please report them to the Shunno team.
  • Constructive feedback is always welcome—if you have any suggestions for improvement, let us know.

By being part of Shunno, you agree to uphold these community values. Any violation may result in membership cancellation or other necessary actions to maintain a safe and respectful space.
